Well, for starters, Ampwall is more than just a place for music, we’ve made space specifically for visual artists.
As I’m sure you’ve heard us say before: Music communities are made up of more than just “people who make sound”. One of these types of peoples are visual artists. In fact, visual artists may be one of the most important yet overlooked members of a music community. Generally, when people find an album, the very first thing you interact with is the artwork - decisions to listen or purchase are often based on how much people enjoy the artwork alone.
Once you have enabled visual artist controls for your page you can go ahead and start uploading your artwork.
Artwork credits and collaborations
On Ampwall, visual art can be tied directly to music or merch its for via artwork credits. This is a great discovery tool as it lets people who are in the market for artwork easily find things they enjoy.
Since creating an artist page comes with a storefront, you can also list art prints or whatever else you have to sell as a visual artist.
Artwork can be tagged just like music and merchandise and we have a special search view specifically for visual art. So even if people who want to find art don’t have a reference album, they can dive right in to the artwork search and see what they can find!
