Ampwall sees Users and Artists as very different things. If you’re coming from another popular music platform, you’re probably used to creating one login for every Artist and then another one for you as an individual. That is not how Ampwall is built.

On Ampwall, you never need to create a login for the Artist; instead, you create a login for you as a person and then create separate pages for each artist.

To draw some comparisons to systems you might be familiar with, Ampwall Artist pages are more similar to Facebook pages: they don’t have logins, they can be managed by multiple people, they have their own permissions and controls independent of the person logging in.

Creating a User account

You can sign up by clicking the “Sign up” button on our home page.

Signing up as a User is free. With a user account, you can build a profile, create Lists and Playlists, and you’ll build a Library of music as you make purchases and directly support Artists.

Creating an artist (or label or visual artist) page

Once you have a User account, you need an active membership to create an Artist page. Memberships start at $10/year ($0.83/month) and help keep Ampwall independent, sustainable, and focused on broad issues. They also prevent a wide range of spam and abuse behavior. Read about our mission at https://ampwall.com/mission and specifically about memberships here. We’re always happy to help you join if you aren’t in a position to pay for a membership, just get in touch.

Once you have an active membership, create an Artist by visiting the “Manage artists” section of your User profile menu and following the prompts.
